PES SUPERCHARGER for B7 S4
 

Thinking about buying one of these kits. Has anyone heard anything about these guys at PES Supercharchargers???? Any word of advice???

I think its early to know much about durability, but there are several PES cars out now that look to be very promissing. I would suggest you visit some of the other forums (Audizine) and bring the popcorn....lots of drama, but some good people who arent afraid of being the guinea pig....

PES supercharged an R8 for us that we ran on the track for about 6 hours straight, the longest break was about 20 minutes between runs. It ran flawlessly.
After that the car ran the 3000 mile Bullrun with no mechanical probles at all. If that doesn't count for reliability testing, I don't know what does.
Two thumbs up to these guys and I would highly recommend any supercharger they sell.

Is there a better system out there for the money?? Supercharger or turbo??

I have read some of the drama referenced on Audizine from a couple of years back, but it sounds like it might been installer issues. I have one and it ran flawless in 2000 miles over 2 days. My car is STILL in the shop waiting for bumper parts due to hitting an animal on my way back across the country, but am scheduled to get it back next week. I then have 6 track days scheduled for the second half of August in some pretty warm weather. So I will test it for sure. But either way I highly recommend PES, and even better, take the car up here and have Patrick install it for you.

Thanks! Glad to hear you having great success with it. Have you had it on a dyno? or seen what 1/4 times the supercharger will bring?

Here is PES G4 Supercharger overlay. Also here is a vid of one of the cars on the dyno. I have not gotten the car to the drag strip yet. Most of the time is spent driving on the street and at road courses ( and street racing when Tony is out of town and leaves me the car... hush hush ....)

Good numbers and consistency! This is getting me stoked. Do you have the temperature and pressure at the time of the run?

I'm not sure of the temps but I will try to find out. I wold say prob between 80 and 87degF depending on the run. As for the pressure. the stg 1 and 1 plus kit makes 5psi and the stage 2 kit makes 7 . I dont know the altitude but I would say were close to sea level, maybe 30ft.

I rarely do this but, thanks for resurrecting a thread thats two years old AND posting a ****ty ass video thats too dark and shows NOTHING about the supercharger kit.....:rolleyes:
