Guys, sorry it took me so long to post this up.
Well last week, we took delivery of the very first SuperCharged R8 done by PES Tuning. Car started its life as a stadard R8. Now it is a monster.
The Carrier pulled up, we were all very excited to get the R8 back.
Especially after we had been teased by PES with videos and Dyno charts. We were itching to take it for a spin! And all we can say is WOW!! this R8 boooogies!

We had some serious anticipation for this moment. Watching the Re-birth of the R8.



















So, after all this excitment.. All I can say is WOW, the fit and finish of the PES SuperCharger Kit,the Methanol Injection. Is second to none. The car is night and day from what it was. It pulls so hard right out the hole. The Torque this car creates now is monsterous. The car will break the tires loose on dry pavement and the car is ALL wheel drive.
I can easily say that this car will now run with the best of them. It is a very fun car to drive on the highway. The car does not need downshifts to go around other cars, just lay into the gas and it goes.
I want to give Dave and Tony and the staff over at PES tuning a BIG THANK YOU, for all the hard work. They are a top notch tuner with a zero headache supercharger. If anyone is considering supercharging their Audi R8/RS4/S4 give PES tuning a call.

That's one of the best looking R8's I've seen yet.
Wheels are kinda big but they work.
I'd rather have a little more rubber for performance driving but I definitely wouldn't through it away.

All can say is working with you on this project was a pleasure. You are a man of your word! Let me explain...

My partner Dave was visiting dealers in Miami on a Thu. several months ago. He told Ben about our plans for the R8 and that we were looking at purchasing one. Ben said "I'll send mine up", and on Monday a truck showed up at our door with the car! It was a very challenging project but very satisfying. Gigharbor1 drove across the country to WA and the R8 Raptor finished 3rd in the Bull Run. Quite a testament to the durability of the product.

Now the big question...
Who wants to send a 5.2 V10? Imagine what a monster that can be.

 

Wow, I think that is one of the best looking R8s I have ever seen. The wheels look awesome with that stance, although I think a slightly smaller wheel with a little more rubber might look better.

So, the big question, how much AWHP?

I like the look of the setup, very clean, but the top part of the intake manifold/ aftercooler looks kind of cheap for some reason. Not sure why, but it just looks out of place, even though the manifold itself looks well done. Maybe a different design would help? Less lines, or smaller logo, or maybe have the words face in the other direction (they seem to be upside down?). Regardless, this is a fantastic product and would be great for all of those who own the V8 and are kicking themselves now that the 5.2 is coming out//

James, most of us V8 owners knew the V10 was coming but got the V8 to be in the queue for the V10. Just one year ago a preowned V8 was still selling higher than MSRP. But now, it's a bad trade to take a haircut on trade-in value while paying up for the elusive V10. PES solved the problem for us.

 

..and when that does happen.. We expect a full built thread right?.

Wow. That is very nicely done.

The methanol injection should double as a cleaner for the intake valves to rectify the cabon buildup plague on stock R8's. This car is bulletproof.

 

If I ever have to take one off ill let every one see how the intake looks.
