B6 S4 in the snow?

I am curious as to how the B6 S4 is in the snow with stock tires, the dealer told me its excellent with snows on it, can one get by with stocks or its a bad idea?

well the S4 comes with summer performance tires, so you would want to buy all seasons on snow tires. I have all season tires on my A4 and they are great in the snow! Quattro is the best!

That's consistent with what I've heard.

I can say though, just even roads that have sand cluttering them that used to send the Bimmer clinging to DSP for dear life, the quattro just plants and goes without missing a beat. So give it a shot on the summers first and know you need the snows for the best results.

Well with temps in the 50s today Snow Tires were not on the top of my list, a wash and a wax was indeed.
