Time to start modding, need help for RS6

CAR: Daytona Grey with Black Interior/CF Dash.

Ok, I won't go crazy at least to start with so I am looking to find the following. Please let me know what/where you recommend for me.

1. Clear front turn signals (I want the euro look, NO yellow in front)
2. Software (GIAC, is this the best for this car?) I assume so as I had the GIAC for my cayenne TT and it rocked)
3. Exhaust (full system and one that has nice tips and loud sounding exhaust)

that's all I want for now.

thanks

Let me know if you find the clear turn signals, and I'll do the same. Hopefully I'll be getting Shank's car by the end of next week.

I would definetly reccomend APR, they took forever getting me my 1.0bar ECU but it was only because they were transferring to newer chips or something, a big fiasco, anyways in the end they tacked on an extra 4 programs for free. Also their technology of using the cruise control stock to switch between programs is GENIUS, so fluid and flawless, you can run in stock mode then change it to big hp at a stoplight.

I would also reccomend AWE, Mike on this site was able to tell me progress on my items, and everything was great condition, props to all them.

Of the ones you listed, even though I have not worked with them, from what I hear, Sportec, Milltek/Stratmosphere, and Oettinger are the big ones. Sportec is especially known for their RS6 tuning - See Shank's car; Milltek known for exhaust systems; and Oettinger as pretty much the Ruf for Audi's IMO, exclusive, expensive, German. Oettinger and ABT may be difficult to order things from, all I've ever seen that anyone gets from them are rims.

Don't know the quality of lltek but I've been to their website many times, always turned me off for being so cheasy...

Re: Time to start modding, need help for RS6

Fred,

I highly recommend you come over to Audiworld - we know a lot about cars over there, from tuning to external modifications.

If you want a local shop who knows a lot about Audis, check out Streetwerke (streetwerke.com). They are right down the street from my house (near Park), and would love to talk to you about modifications.

The APR exhaust is supposed to very nice:

PM me when you get a chance, I'd love to meet up sometime and check out the car - maybe even have a little race

Update. I am getting clear lights from Avalon. I am getting Miltek exhaust now as MTM does not offer racing version and it's not agressive enough for me. I am also getting GIAC software. I can hook you up with them if you need.

thanks
