congrats ... check the DRC see if it was recalled and be carefull with the trans... it is the weak link in this car and if you plan on making power with it or if it ever fails... level 10 trans in hamburg NJ are the only people ive heard of that rebuild them... enjoy!!! its a car thats hard topart with = )
There was an official letter sent out by Audi in the middle of last year that covered a warranty replacement of the shocks. You should look into this if you haven't already. I'll also agree w/GT2RS6 that the trans is weak. I have a torque converter replaced at 33K miles.. My car is stock and not abused in any way...be careful but enjoy. At 7 yrs old the car is still tough to beat as a daily driver!!

I have never had an issue with parts.
The 35k timing belt job cost 600 bucks. All Audi parts were replaced and my hands performed the labor. I dont think 600 is obscene.

I usually like the new model cars but this car is so much better looking than the current body style its amazing. The new s6 really does nothing for me and the performance is a joke. Great car.

I really struggle with what to replace the RS6 with. It's a wonderful car in almost every respect, but it's starting to get a little long in the tooth. And, generally, I don't like to keep cars past 50K miles. I'm well-covered by an independent warranty, so I have no urgency to do anything, but I'm truly stumped! I'm thinking an A4 or S4 Avant and a CLK Black or Aston Vanq S. But, frankly, I don't think there's anything that fills the shoes of the RS6. Damn VAG for not bringing the C6.
