The interior is gorgeous, gorgeous, gorgeous. The exterior feels like a step backward from the previous generation, imo.

I love Audi but the new A8 looks like an A4 with every body panel enlarged by 30%...the interior is stunning as usual.

 

love the interior, hate the shifter
hate the new front grill

Is it me or was the older A8 / S8 perfect? proportionate, elegant etc etc...?

 

This car is gorgous. Audi gets better and better.

 

I sat in one a couple of months ago and the interior is amazing. However the exterior looks, as some of you said, just like a large A4 that's been beaten with an ugly stick.

All their other cars look so damn good so it's odd that they screwed this one up so badly.. imo at least.

 

saw one on road. it looks like a larger A4, a bit too conservative. nice but definitely not special. interior is sex though, almost bentley quality.

 

i guess they kept the exterior conservative to gain more s-class customers, cause the S-class has the no1 spot in luxury class sales for years. most of those customers are businessmen in their 50s/60s. in July and August the new A8 was the 2nd best selling luxury car over here in germany, so i guess it was the right choice.
For those who want a more dynamic looking A8, there is an optional S-line exterior trim and the S8 is also on the way, which should be and look much more performance orientated.

This car kills the S class in every manor, the grill will grow on people. Car is amazing

 

i agree, its a beautiful car with a great interior, i got to take a ride in one and wow such a smooth car. but honestly it does look just like a enlarged a4
wouldnt mind getting one though
