Introducing AWE Tuning’s Gen2 Line of B8 2.0T Exhaust Systems
The latest in a line of storied Exhaust technology: The AWE Tuning Gen2 line of B8 2.0T Exhaust Systems… simply a new level of tone and sophistication.
New for Generation 2
AWE Tuning Gen2 systems utilize specially engineered Helmholtz Resonators which attack unpleasant sound frequencies (drone) without providing any additional restriction.
Another new development is the Downpipe. Previously, this was only available for cars with a 6 speed manual. We now offer a Resonated Downpipe that is compatible with both Manual and Automatic transmissions.
Generation 1 owners

Thanks to the use of our specially designed Helmholtz sound cancelation resonators, we were able to isolate and eliminate unpleasant sound frequencies when the exhaust is mated with the factory downpipes. In other words, the A4/A5 2.0T Downpipe Back Exhaust Systems come with AWE Tuning’s lauded No Drone Guarantee.
Tips and valances:
Like our Generation 1 systems, our Gen2 line comes in three variations:
* Single Outlet, Dual 80mm (3.15 inch) slash cut tips designed to work with the factory rear valance where both tips are on the left side of the car
* Dual Outlet, Single 90mm (3.5 inch) straight cut tips designed to work with the factory rear valance which has one tip on each side of the car
* Quad 80mm (3.15 inch) slash cut tips designed to work with a factory S4/S5 rear valance
When will it be available?
Now. Any new orders placed through AWE Tuning or our global network of 400+ dealers will receive our new Gen2 Exhaust System.
