Factory 2009 Audi S6 w/ S-Line power package???(v10 w/ factory turbo)??
 

has anyone every heard of facory S6 v10 with a factory turbo??

my boss got his back in 2009 I didnt believe him when he told me. He even got a special vin# mailed to him from Germany when he got the car.

His HP rating is 505.

2009 S6 5.2 V10 FSI Turbo charged (single)
505 HP
upgraded interior and few other upgrades all straight from factory.

any one ever heard of this?

The RS6 had a twin turbo v10. but it made more HP than 505 and wasn't sold here.

yea i'm aware of the RS6 571HP twin turbo v10.

I'm trying to see if anyone else has ever heard of this limited edition S6..

He bought from dealer and it came from factory 2009 S6 V10 turbo (single) making 505hp. Some "power +" or "S-line" package.

was this potentially a RS6 test car??

Single turbo V10? Something doesn't sound quite right... I think your boss is either misinformed or is playing April fools on you a month early...

Post pics if you can... someone here will know what it is....

2009 S6 was a V10 out of a Gallardo and was NA.. the only turbo kits I know of for this type of engine (lambo) is either heffner, Underground, or other types of "tuners"

this is not a joke. He's not messing with me either. He said he wouldnt buy a regular S6 because it's too slow.

I'll get a pic if I can. He walked into Audi of Manhattan was on Show Room in 2009...he was told it was a "limited edition S6 with factory turbo" flown in from germany. When they went to register the car on purchase US DMV didnt recognize the car...Audi then shipped special paperwork over to say that the car is theirs and is to be sold in US.

Never ever heard of anything like this. Pictures? Otherwise it's just words :).

Seriously doubt Audi would one off a turbo conversion from the factory for a single customer, just wouldn't make any sense for them to do that, this is not how companies who mass produce a product on an assembly line work.
Your boss will have to wait to buy the new 2012 S6 with a 4.0 turbo V8, then he can tell you his S6 is turbocharged from the factory.hilarious

I'm with you, but I could see some "special order" coming in every off and on if the $$$ was right...but yes, single turbo V10 sounds awfully challenging...a TT would have been what I would guess as a "pre-production" new gen kind of engine etc.

No such thing as "special edition" factory S6 turbo. All had V10's, non-turbo. S-Line is simply a appearance package offered on "non-S" cars.

If brought from Germany, could have been a tuner-car from MTM or something.

Thanks for your help guys...bashing my question is exactly what i was going for.

This was a special order car for Audi of Manhattan on Park Avenue. It came with every potential factory option...including a turbo package direct from audi in germany.

I was hoping someone in LA or Mia or Chicago might be on here. Cause I assumed so of other the high-end cities would special order a car as well.

FYI it was very very $$$ compared to standard S6.

Again, there was no such thing. Prove it with some pictures or an order sheet.
