I've been looking to buy a used r8 and one of the options I wanted was the convenience package. I've found one that has everything I wanted but this package. Any current owners have input on how useful the options in this package really are for daily driving?

The most useful thing is the parking sensors and backup camera. Otherwise, it's hard to tell where either end of the car is.

 

Its great for parallel parking, front parking with those concrete stoppers, and for backing up.

Once you get familiar with the different sounds coming from the 5 or so sensors around the car you dont even need mirrors to perform these tasks, you rely on the camera and the sounds.

Great technology

 

I have this package on my car. I would definitely suggest finding one with the option.
