I found a private stretch of road and ran what I'm pretty sure was a bone stock V8 R8 a few times from a roll in my stock (except for forged wheels) C63. We weren't honking so he got the jump each time. It seemed like the cars were pretty well matched up.

Have you guys ever run against C63's? If so, what was the result?

So do you mean that the result of C63 vs R8 v8 would be similar to the M3 vs C63?

 

I think c63amg would slightly outdo the R8.

 

In anything other than a straight line its no contest, R8 hands down.

 

I've driven down the PCH a few times following an R8 in the C63... I reeled him in slowly in a straight line but he would pull away during most corners.
