Hey guys.. I am about to pick up a 2008 S5 with 20K miles... the warranty just ran out and I wanted to know if any of you guys are aware of any known or common issues about the S5??

I have searched and found some talk about the Master Clutch Cylinder going bad and being replaced... not a lot of chatter about it but enought to get me 2nd guessing this purchase... I've had STi, G35, G35 Turbo, 350Z, two 335i's.... never an Audi.... please advise ASAP!

Okay so I found out some more stuff talking to previous owners that sold their S5's... first they said make sure you have or get warranty ASAP. If you can afford to pay more get one under the factory bumper to bumper warranty and if not then a good inclusive warranty will be $4 to $6K for the S5....

On a car like that, I'd definitely want an all inclusive extended warranty. Even if you have to purchase a third party one. With a car like that, you know that almost any mechanical or electrical problem is going to start at $500 w/labor and work its way up from there.
