I wasn't happy with my monotone interior...so...
Afte a little over 2 weeks of owning my 2012 S5 monsoon gray with ebony interior, I became less and less enthused about my interior. I also hated the fact, that I was dusting the car more often as dust and other dirt shows a lot more on darker colored cars. I should have learned my lesson with my 911 which was a dark racing green.
Lo and behold, last week as I was perusing the web, I saw a silver S5 with a magma red/ebony interior. I WAS SMITTEN!
So to make a long story short, I took a 2 hour drive over to Audi of South Burlington, VT and traded in my 2012 S5 cabrio for another 2012 S5 cabrio with the exterior color and interior color being the one that I am really satisfied with.
The only thing that was different was that I lost the backup camera, lane change assist and dynamic lights with the current car I have now. On the PLUS side, I gained the sport differential and dynamic ride select option. It surely made it much more fun to drive!
Did I lose out on this trade in? Sure! But in the end of it all, I have a much wider smile on my face whenever I drive in my S5 now.
Here are a couple pics:
