Hi,

I have a 2006 A6 4.2. It came with the base suspension. I am interested in lowering the car via springs or a coil over kit.

H and R and bilstein make options for the coil over, and Eibach makes options for the springs. I am not interested in any crazy ghetto lowering, just a bit stiffer ride and also lessening the fender gap so it looks a little sportier. any advice on which route to go and do both options require an alignment when finished?
