2005 Audi S4 Track Toy

This S4 is set up as a seriously fun track and mountain road car. Our customer drives this car daily and lives in the mountains so handling prowess and braking ability are it's leading features, but a supercharger is under consideration as well.

So what to do when one needs a car that is comfortable enough to take back and forth from work, sharp enough to handle the twists and turns of mountain streets, fun enough to make the driving portion of weekend road trips just as fun as the destination, and fast enough to hold its own at the track? A top to bottom overhaul, that's what. From suspension to transmission to exhaust to brakes, this S4 was upgraded into something all its own. We love sharing our work with you and we hope you enjoy this one as much as we enjoyed working on it!

Mods include:

StaSis Ohlins remote reservior adjustable coilovers
034 Motorsport adjustable front upper control arms
Brembo brakes front and rear
LED DRL Headlights
K40 radar and laser system
Rebuilt and modified tiptronic transmission
Rennline pedals
Carbonio Intake
APR Software
ADV.1 5.2.1 One piece forged wheels
Milltek downpipes and exhaust

The K40 Install

The K40 Radar and Laser System

Tearing down the dash

Mounting the interface in the dashboard

Finalized Dash

Time to Hide Everything

The Front Reciever

The Front Laser Shifter

The stock inserts didn't quite work with the laser shifter. But no problems! An easy cut and we're back in business.

The Rear Reciever (Hidden) and The Rear Laser Shifter

LED Headlights

The factory headlights were looking dated so we decided to upgrade them to a newer Audi LED style headlight pioneered in the Audi R8. Once we installed these lights, the car's look changed giving it a more modern appearance. The upgraded headlights required a bit of re-engineering as they were not equipped to accept this S4's self-leveling option. We were able to integrate the headlight motors into the assemblies and design a wiring harness to adapt the motor signals to bypass any dash warning lights.

Before and After

Rennline Pedals

ADV 5.2.1 One Piece Forged Wheels

We are anxiously waiting to hear back from the customer to see what the next step will be!
