I've done some searches and frankly I must be asleep or not trying hard enough to find my answer I need. So with that being said I'm sorry if this is too easy.

Manufacturers tend to standardize their assembly processes such that certain components are used across more than one platform. So with that being said I was wondering how this applies to the latest Audi family members.

Recently my '13 S4 was in for service and I was provided an A8 to drive. While I could see many similar interior features I was most smitten with the seats. 22 way seats with massage built in?!!! Oh Yeah!!!

So can these seats or can any seats with features like this be put into the S4 and bolt up correctly? If so then will the controls be displayed on the screen as well?

Why I ask is because other brands have components that can and often do plug right in as their CPUs already have the programming in it.

I am also interested in figuring out what the blank outs are on my dash and what future or euro machines are using what that I don't have.
