Now that we were finished, we soldered everything back together. https://www.6speedonline.com/forums/...ine=1378846841 https://www.6speedonline.com/forums/...ine=1378846841 https://www.6speedonline.com/forums/...ine=1378846841 https://www.6speedonline.com/forums/...ine=1378846841 The grille includes a black plastic block off to hide the OEM bumper support. With that no longer present we decided to remove this block off https://www.6speedonline.com/forums/...ine=1378846841 https://www.6speedonline.com/forums/...ine=1378846841 https://www.6speedonline.com/forums/...ine=1378846841 Our customer wanted to retain his Milltek exhaust so we had to adapt the APR Stage 3 downpipe to the Milltek rear section https://www.6speedonline.com/forums/...ine=1378846841 https://www.6speedonline.com/forums/...ine=1378846841 https://www.6speedonline.com/forums/...ine=1378846841 All done! https://www.6speedonline.com/forums/...ine=1378846841 Sway Bars Front https://www.6speedonline.com/forums/...ine=1378846841 https://www.6speedonline.com/forums/...ine=1378846841 Stock versus H&R https://www.6speedonline.com/forums/...ine=1378846841 https://www.6speedonline.com/forums/...ine=1378846841 https://www.6speedonline.com/forums/...ine=1378846841 With the addition of the stage 3 turbo, intercooler, high pressure fuel pump, and upgraded clutch, this car has significantly boosted its performance and will be an all new beast! The Brembos taking care of his stopping power while the H&R bars will be adding stability, grip and lowering body roll. Needless to say, we can't WAIT to see this TT-RS hit the track again! https://www.6speedonline.com/forums/...ine=1378846841 To see more pictures, visit the gallery here! |

It has been quite a while since we updated you on this TT-RS but considering it’s been boosted from track toy to track superstar since then, we thought it was due time.
Racetech MAG6 Magnum Harness Racetech 119 Series RT4119HRW Race Seat Racetech 4009 Series RT4009W Race Seat Rennline Aluminum Pedal Set - w/Dead Pedal - 4 Piece - Rubber Grip Rennline Pedals Why start here when we have that list of upgrades to choose from? Well, although it seems like a simple part swap, it can quite an important one. Although track cars aren’t exactly what you’d label as “conventionally comfy”, your comfort when in the car can be paramount to performance. Something as small and seemingly innocuous as a pedal swap can make a huge difference when blasting around the track and you can have zero worries about a slip of any sort, and, especially for those heel-toers amongst us, when the pedal itself is shaped more friendly to your style. Enter the Rennline pedals for the TT-RS. Equipped with rubber grips and additional throttle extensions that make your heel-toe more seamless, these pedals also have the added bonus of looking a little cooler too. https://www.gmpperformance.com/CFJFi...3519-32836.jpg https://www.gmpperformance.com/CFJFi...3519-32837.jpg https://www.gmpperformance.com/CFJFi...3519-32838.jpg https://www.gmpperformance.com/CFJFi...3519-32839.jpg https://www.gmpperformance.com/CFJFi...3519-32841.jpg Roll Bar, Race Seats, and Harnesses Okay, so where the real begins. With power, handling, braking and overall performance turned to 11, it was the next obvious step. And there is nothing that getsa the guys at GMP more excited than a roll bar and some race seats. This one is extra special however, because while we went to Racetech for the seats and the harnesses, we didn’t have to go any further than our own fabrication center for the roll bar! One last look at it before it enters race car mode https://www.gmpperformance.com/CFJFi...3519-31011.jpg https://www.gmpperformance.com/CFJFi...3519-31809.jpg https://www.gmpperformance.com/CFJFi...3519-33624.jpg And it begins! First, we test fit our bolt in points and the cage overall. https://www.gmpperformance.com/CFJFi...3519-31811.jpg https://www.gmpperformance.com/CFJFi...3519-31903.jpg https://www.gmpperformance.com/CFJFi...3519-31905.jpg After being positive that the fitment is ideal, we powdercoated the bar yellow per the customer's request and it was game on from there. https://www.gmpperformance.com/CFJFi...3519-32749.jpg https://www.gmpperformance.com/CFJFi...3519-32754.jpg https://www.gmpperformance.com/CFJFi...3519-32756.jpg https://www.gmpperformance.com/CFJFi...3519-32757.jpg https://www.gmpperformance.com/CFJFi...3519-32762.jpg https://www.gmpperformance.com/CFJFi...3519-32743.jpg https://www.gmpperformance.com/CFJFi...3519-32764.jpg https://www.gmpperformance.com/CFJFi...3519-32767.jpg https://www.gmpperformance.com/CFJFi...3519-32786.jpg https://www.gmpperformance.com/CFJFi...3519-32788.jpg https://www.gmpperformance.com/CFJFi...3519-32790.jpg https://www.gmpperformance.com/CFJFi...3519-32792.jpg https://www.gmpperformance.com/CFJFi...3519-33630.jpg https://www.gmpperformance.com/CFJFi...3519-33631.jpg https://www.gmpperformance.com/CFJFi...3519-33634.jpg https://www.gmpperformance.com/CFJFi...3519-33637.jpg https://www.gmpperformance.com/CFJFi...3519-32842.jpg |
This bad boy has been on track ever since. Okay, not literally but you know what we mean! If you're a member of the NC region of the Audi Club, you've undoubtedly seen it at least once. But after all this work, we wanted to introduce it to a less aggressive territory: that of a photo shoot.
