2012 Audi TT-RS w/ APR Stage III Turbo, Brembo Brakes, APR Chip, and Milltek Exhaust

30 Attachment(s)
When we first met this Audi TT-RS, it was brand new. Its owner came in for some customary Audi additions. With an APR ECU upgrade to give a power bump while maintaining driveability, a Milltek cat-back exhaust and downpipe to really hear the car's awesome engine note, and some window tint to compliment its looks, it was sent happily on its way.

After a while though, it was time for this TT-RS to move on to bigger and better things. Our customer likes to track his Audi and has taken part in some of our own events so we knew it was only a matter of time before we saw it in our shops once more. We weren't wrong but what it came in for was so much cooler than even we expected.

With the addition of the stage 3 turbo, intercooler, high pressure fuel pump, and upgraded clutch, this car has significantly boosted its performance and will be an all new beast! The Brembos taking care of his stopping power while the H&R bars will be adding stability, grip and lowering body roll. Needless to say, we can't WAIT to see this TT-RS hit the track again!

While we didn't get a chance to dyno it ourselves while the car was here, here is the graph that APR has released.

Thank you very much! Wait until you see it on its track wheel/tire setup! No pictures of that combo yet, but I'm sure it will look mean! :)

It has been quite a while since we updated you on this TT-RS but considering it’s been boosted from track toy to track superstar since then, we thought it was due time.

Racetech MAG6 Magnum Harness
Racetech 119 Series RT4119HRW Race Seat
Racetech 4009 Series RT4009W Race Seat
Rennline Aluminum Pedal Set - w/Dead Pedal - 4 Piece - Rubber Grip

Rennline Pedals

Why start here when we have that list of upgrades to choose from? Well, although it seems like a simple part swap, it can quite an important one. Although track cars aren’t exactly what you’d label as “conventionally comfy”, your comfort when in the car can be paramount to performance. Something as small and seemingly innocuous as a pedal swap can make a huge difference when blasting around the track and you can have zero worries about a slip of any sort, and, especially for those heel-toers amongst us, when the pedal itself is shaped more friendly to your style. Enter the Rennline pedals for the TT-RS. Equipped with rubber grips and additional throttle extensions that make your heel-toe more seamless, these pedals also have the added bonus of looking a little cooler too.

Roll Bar, Race Seats, and Harnesses

Okay, so where the real begins. With power, handling, braking and overall performance turned to 11, it was the next obvious step. And there is nothing that getsa the guys at GMP more excited than a roll bar and some race seats. This one is extra special however, because while we went to Racetech for the seats and the harnesses, we didn’t have to go any further than our own fabrication center for the roll bar!

One last look at it before it enters race car mode

And it begins! First, we test fit our bolt in points and the cage overall.

After being positive that the fitment is ideal, we powdercoated the bar yellow per the customer's request and it was game on from there.

This bad boy has been on track ever since. Okay, not literally but you know what we mean! If you're a member of the NC region of the Audi Club, you've undoubtedly seen it at least once. But after all this work, we wanted to introduce it to a less aggressive territory: that of a photo shoot.
