How hard is it to get an Audi TT RS with PDK into the Unites States.

Let's face it, the only reason the Audi TT RS with PDK didn't make it to the US of A was because Porsche AG and PCNA Vetoed it from happening. For around $60K and some odd dollars you could have, at least on the street and racing between lights, a car that would beat just about any stock Porsche besides the TT and TTS.
I have a chance from the guy who hires me as a contractor from time to time to receive as partial payment for a job one of these cars with all the bells and whistles with less than 1500 miles.
What I want to know does drive train cofiguration matter when bringing in the cars. I mean we already have the same car with the same name except in the US are 6MT, not PDK.
How does the process work when the cars come to port special order, not with all the other brand new cars. Do they just look at the packing slip and pass it a long or do they freak out and ring the alarm and yell "Schnell Schnell".
