Like Derek said in the post over the years, a car's strengths and weaknesses both become obvious. Anyone here owned one? What was your experience like?

 

Are there any well known work-arounds for some of the problems?

 

I had one for a few years and was a lucky one; No major issues other than an engine out for leaky valve covers, and a leaky gas tank rollover valve (both warranty covered)

I had the original Tiptronic Trans and Torque Converter, as well as the original DRC system. And it was tuned!

So they did have issues, but they were unicorns for their day, and the best car I have owned until now.......
