Them making the RS4, S6, RS6, etc as an Avant in Europe and not offering it in the US is absurd, but they won't know unless people tell them!

I agree. I tell my dealer all the time. But then again, he doesn't understand why anyone would even buy an RS4 or RS6 sedan, and doesn't even order those.

 

Salespeople don't see the performance wagon owners being a big market. Volvo has had the rocket wagon in limited production and it's great, I'm on my second one. I would love an RS6 Avant, I have a Q7 deposit in for the S-Line, but I'm hoping for news of a V10 DSG version (Gallardo SUV).

 

I don't see why they don't understand it. I'm sure you see LOADS of audi avants up by you, fineproperty. I know they're huge in the ski / snowboard world not just for their practicality, but also their subtleness.

The V10 would be the RS6 (they've already announced the RS6 will basically have the Gallardo engine, the S8 has a slighly detuned gallardo engine) and they'll make an avant version, but will we get it?????

(ps - I drove the Q7 yesterday and loved it. A couple of my friends have Touaregs and they both commented on how much more room it has than them. The only complaint I had was the carpets in it looked weird. They tried to go with an industrial feel and I'm not sure if I totally back it.)

 

For me, Im a Avant fan. From RS2, RS4 to RS6. Avant is simple for Audi RS line. Im not even interest with RS4 sedan but if they bring RS4 Avant, I will highly consider it!

I didn't like the carpets look either, even though they reminded me of the old German Square-Weave carpets found in older Porsche's, durable as all hell. I also found the fabric cover for the Open Sky system to be flimsy, looks easy for kids to tear plus sag in a few years?
