RS4 Readily available?
RS4 Readily available?
What's the story at your Dealer? It seems that the list for this car are not long, and Dealers in the Bay area have allocations available from the first anticipated deliveries in mid-June.
For such an expectedly hot car it seems a little surprising, and I wonder why?

There is no market for them here at all. If you wanted one, you would get the dealer's first car. Awesome car, but pretty spendy. It gets you up into base-997 range among others. Just a lot of competition at that price point, and also a status issue as many of the buyers want people to know they've spent a lot of money on the car, whereas this is the ultimate stealth car, except to other car guys . . . I may have to buy one for my daily driver. It sounds a lot more fun than my Suburban, and I can still cram all of the kids in there. The dogs were getting spoiled anyway. They can stay home a little more often!
came across those pix from another member's board. not sure about the story but they're not press cars but new. that's quite a few RS4 for a single dealer...
talked to 2 of Audi dealers. they had expected a long list for the car but many have dropped out after the official price release. cars are arriving as we speak but Audi won't release them til mid to late June. i was surprised since the sales told me i could drive the very first one home if i want it.

Maybe if dealers cut 10k or audi starts offering rediculous lease deals with this apparent decrease in demand i'd look into one sooner than later
as sick as this car is, ithere is quite stiff competition in this price range for all but the most hardcore audi/ sport sedan enthusiasts

I really thought it was way overpriced but who am I to say. I really like it but considering I could get a new ZO6, a new 997, and for a few more dollars a new E55 or even Audi's own V10 S6 I have to agree with Mexico the air is a little rarefied at this price point and the Audi lacks the cache and substance of the competition.
Lucky for them they got it out before the new M3 and not so distant C class AMG. With those cars on the ground I don't think Audi would sell one.

Audi needs to read their slogan they have for the states and actually lead and not follow. I have had over a dozen Audi's over the years and 2 RS6's if they want me back as a customer they better blow a out a real MONSTER of a RS6 Gen II.
