Wow, Audi finally made a car that doesn't look like complete ass. And with a real gearbox. Color me shocked.

All it needs is a turbo kit and the front driveshafts removed. :D

Ugh. On second thought, what's up with the Honda powerband? Maybe a roots blower would be a better idea.

Wow, thats about 116k USD base (ofcourse, european pricing exl. 19% tax). Whats has the difference been between US and German pricing, historically?

I think Audi will price it just under $100k, and with most options it will come out around $120k. B&O, optional LED lights, etc and bam you are in 997TT price but cant compete in performance. I like the car but as I said earlier in another post, they need more power. They are claiming 4.6 to 100kmh, sorry not good my RS6 did it around there if not less, STOCK. I know its not about the 0-100kmh or 0-60mph but when a 997TT tippy does it in 3.4 thats FAST, 4.6 is OK my Continental GT with all its 2.5 tons does it in 4.7.
I duhno as I said they should of put the V10 and gave it a couple of snails.

That would surely hurt the G sales then. IMO, the R8 looks better than the G. Maybe the R8 will get the detuned V10 next year.

All they are doing is making more cars to within a arms reach of power figures, how many demographics can you fill.
Knock one out of the ballpark and stop hitting the damn bleachers already.

In general, cars are much cheaper in the US. Even though many cars are built in Germany, Germans have to pay thousands of dollars more. A price difference of $10,000+ is nothing unusual.

A prime exampe here would be the VW Phaeton I guess. Even though hand-built in Germany, the base model V8 is $ 40,000 (!) cheaper in the US.
