If they're turboing the V10, I am getting one of those.

 

Get your check book out as a good source tells me they are, but with Audi you can never be sure until they unveil it.

I hope you are a patient man Gabriel. If you are in Europe it will probably come out next year, I dont think it will be sooner. Original time frame info for North America as it was stated by Audi that it will be a 2009 model. I hope its not true as that would be a long time to wait. Judging from the last RS6 it was around 2 years from unveiling to delivery to the states. WAYYYYY to long, I dont think Quattro gmbh has the capacity to pump out more models faster.

We shall see its all speculation and here say to be honest, the only people that know for a fact arent and wont spill the beans.

 

Hey why not add some fuel to the fire. I have heard from a reliable source that there are three motors being speculated right now, a built to hell V10, the TT V10, and a TT RS4 V8. There is one common fact between those three options, Audi has said there will be a magic Hp number that they wish to meet before the car is released. What might that magic number be.......600hp. Time will tell.

I hope so!! And it damn well better come with stick as option and chassis equal to the RS4. I've driven the S6 and it's... uninspiring. Nothing like the S8.

That's the RS6? Talk about prototype, it even has the S6 exhaust.

 

Can you expand a bit more on the differences between the two cars, perhaps in a different thread? My dad is looking at both of those cars to replace his A6. He is leaning towards the S6 right now because he doesn't want such a large vehicle and the S8 seemingly isn't worth the 30,000 or so extra.
