My wife and I were leaving Lake Las Vegas where Audi had a few R8's running around all day. Not sure if they were doing testing or promotional marketing. Anyhow, they were at the Hyatt (now Loews) and we managed to capture one on video as we left.

You guys might have seen a ton of videos already but oh what the hell...one more couldn't hurt.

Should of had sound instead of music.

 

I purposely overlayed the sound with music as a business call came on my cell while my wife was filming. You would have heard me chatting biz crap otherwise.

The driver didn't really floor it in front of us, so there wasn't any loud exhaust sound worth capturing. On another note, when I saw the car I was thinking "nice car" as opposed to seeing a Gallardo and saying "holy ****". I guess something about the R8 seems off. Maybe it looks a tad too long (wheelbase)? Can't put my finger on it. Great car nontheless.

 

There are 12 R8's in Las Vegas for the US Press Launch of the vehicle. In April there will be 24 R8's in Phoneix for the International Launch to the International dealer network.

 

All those R8s and no one to drive them... yet!
