RS4 Owners MPG
I don't notice much difference between the two modes, but I guess if I'm freeway cruising (thus getting higher mpg) I turn off sport mode because there is no need for it.
You'll get 20+ highway, but on the streets it can be ****, but averages 14-16 to me depending on how I drive. The problem is this car is so addictive at higher RPM that you tend to let gears stay long just to hear the sound and the you get 12mpg all the time. ha

The MPG that the car reports is known to be bull****. The best way to count it is to see how much you fill up and record the miles driven on said amount of gas. At one point I used the MPG meter in my A4, but have since realized it's full of ****.
pretty much in the 14-16mpg camp IF i get some highway miles in. given that i drive mainly in town (and i too like to hear it growl more times than not) it can be as bad as 11mpg, no joke! do i care, not one bit.
I get 14-ish in stop and go traffic, but it improves to about 23mpg when I am steady cruising (70mph or so). About the same as my 997S...
I always use Sport (same in the 997S). It makes me
