When will the new S4 be out?

New to Audi. Thinking of getting an S4 Avant for my wife. How long has the current model been out, and does anyone know when the next version will be out?

I think the B8's are coming as 2009 models, but I don't believe there's been any sort of official announcement.

the current ones (B7's) have been around since 2005.5 I believe..
