I bought the car stock new in 01, I used a kit from AutoSpeed Performance. They use K04s (Stock on RS4 in Europe) and their own fueling/software kit. As far as installation, they may be able to recommend one if you are not near them. http://www.autospeedperformance.com/

I have not dynoed my car yet but it should be around 400ish HP right now.

You are welcome and thanks for sharing. So your car was NA from the factory and now sports a turbo thats got to fool a few people. What boost levels do you run on 93 pump gas and race fuels?

A typical Stage 1 S4 puts out 280HP/300lbtq Stage 2 300hp/320lbtq Stage 2+ 318/388lbtq Stage 3 450HP/465lb/tq and the Mighty Stage 3+ Car 550HP/585lbtq on pump gas.

Thank you sir. I'm spiking to 25psi and tapering to 20-21. I'm around 410-420 but won't be sure till I dyno.

Stage 3+? What does that consist of? Is that the GT28 upgrade?

It usually means a turbo upgrade(usually K04's), software, fueling(injectors, MAF, etc), Intercooler(s), full turbo-back exhaust, etc, etc....

I really want stage 3 power if I get the b5 s4 but I don't want to pay stage 3 price which is around $7k excluding installation? anyway to get similar power without spending close to $10k?

Yes. Contact Mike @ VAST performance here in MI. (I know him well) www.vastperformance.com You can always try to locate a B5 with K04s already in it. They pop up here and there. Or you could buy mine with a 10K STASIS tranny and APR stage 3 with RS4 CF interior.
