Thanks for all the compliments guys! I am trying to price it fairly -- i would just like another car nut like me to get her, that's all.

Mike, just let me know man. I can tell you that you wouldn't go wrong with this one being that she has zero issues like prior accidents, paintwork, etc. The extended warranty is a huge plus too...

TTT. I've had some interest but what do you guys think I need to ask in order to sell her? I know this time of year is bad, but I would have thought I could have moved her out by now....

Any trade ideas? I'm looking for a change now.

It depends...what were you thinking? Shoot me an email if you want: clucia@mmlawpc.com I've had several E36 M3s but never an E46.

It was definitely fast, but in a totally different way than the Viper. They would be very close in a straight line. The cornering capabilities of the Viper are more difficult to mine, however, once you learn the car, the performance is off the charts. The grip is immense and the throttle is extremely easy to modulate. The 996 TT, however, has fantastic all-around poise that the Viper doesn't have and that is immediately felt. A ton of guys think that the Vipers don't handle though, and that's just not true.
I can attest to this. My friend Steve Katz, is a professional racer.. He took me around Limerock at our last track day in his GTS ACR on Toyo RA1's and that's it. With a driver who know's what he was doing, it was UNREAL, the grip, cornering speeds and so on was just very immense like mentioned, just like my GT2 on Moton's! He also has a 996TT, best of both worlds, good luck with your sale

Good story about your day at Limerock. In general, most people are very misinformed about how unreal the Viper, and especially an ACR, is in the corners. Thanks man.

So what kind of price do I need to put to move the car? $53k? $52k? Anyone know anyone that might be interested? It is the real deal...NO stories, no BS.

car looks great and i don't think your asking price is off at all, but with all that said i know the market for vipers is a little tough since there are older models that are basically identical for a good bit less.

I'd stick firm and be patient all else fails you can lower the price down the road.

You have to figure though that there are big differences in buying a '96 to '99 and in buying an '01 or '02. With the '01 and '02 models, Viper finally offered ABS brakes, a factor in why a ton of the guys adding twin turbos are going with '01 or '02 cars.

I do hear you though. I really don't want to give her away, but I definitely do want to sell. Any 996 TT trade deals out there???

Hey Sean, did you ever get over to my buddy's store to see the ACR?

Guys, I'm definitely open to offers. Shoot me a number I can't refuse. HAHA. I'm willing to deal (well, my wife is willing to deal, but that translates to pretty much the same thing). Low, low $50s??
