Yep, I am getting that feeling as well. I would have asked that first, but there were two factors: 1) all ads have to have a price, per forum rules, and 2) my dad has someone coming to look at it today with the existing price, so I just used that.

To those who have posted, he'll be making phone calls again today.

I'm really going to hate to see this thing go. I know how much he loves it. Everyone's kind words are appreciated.

Give a call to victory motorcars, they pay top dollar for rare and oddball Porsche's. Good luck!

Different Focus

Good observation, which I believe results from some people focusing on early Porsches while others are primarily interested in the newer Porsches. Speaking for myself, I was unaware of this 6speedonline forum prior to this post, which I reached via a link on an early 911 website. I'm glad I found it!

I think you'll find a high correlation between the "under 5 posts" crowd you noted and many of those same people's participation in two websites that serve the early 911 crowd. On those websites, some of them post very often indeed.

Here are the links, in case you've not seen them before:

Interesting point. You will find alot of posts , especially in the for sale section are pretty usless. Most posts say nice ride, GL with sale . The for sale post are supposed to have guidelines but seems they are loosely enforced. Now it would seem that if you signed up almost 2 years ago it would hold more weight instead of posting COOL RIDE 100 times. The site is pretty cool and if I see a car I want its pretty easy to find other ways to contact the poster . This particualer post was one of few that actually had more interested people than people just saying NICE RIDE.

Im sure Ill probably get deleted, or banned for posting this but who knows.

Oh yeah nice ride, I would of bought this one
