Who originally built the car?

Why does it have an all new drivetrain?

 

It was subbed out- Boston Auto Body and Millwood Collision did the body work and the drivetrain, etc. was done by Billy's Auto here in NY.

 

car is amazing but just to help sale may want to note about the new motor and drivetrain? Could someone have bought this early in the post then need a new motor and drivetrain right after purchase? Amazing car, but curious on the recent work etc. Thanks

 

Thanks for the follow up post. The car never sold, so I had the motor and tranny upgrade done myself. It had the original 289 (reconditioned) and 4 speed so it was due. The upgrade was completed 10/08. it's a whole new animal now, it really is a great buy at this price...certainly can't be built for the asking price!
