Posting for a friend, he is looking for a used Boxster S. He wants to spend around 25k, I figure that can get him something along the lines of an 01-03 Boxster S. (How far off am I in price?)

He likes Red first, white or silver second, with a light brown interior.

He wants manual, and as low mileage as he can get for the price!

 

Boxster S's are 6 speed

 

if he wants to get an S, the mileage for that price range will be 60K-80K

regular Boxsters should be an issue with mileage for that price

I think you should be able to find 01-02 S's with around 50-60k in that price range.

 

are the cayman's the same? s is 6 speed and regular caymans are 5?

it depends on where you look, I doubt ull find S's in that price range with that mileage that aren't beat up or have no history or a sketchy history

id say 80,000 miles is a lot, but to some, it may not be

if hes looking to have some real fun i would advise to get the S, a bit more power and different options than the regular Boxster
