Bert did a good amount of the work, and maintained the car also. He is the best mechanic I've ever met and a nice honest guy to boot! I'll never go to another mechanic again I love that guy. Do you go there also?

If this is still avail in the next 3-6 months I would be very interested,its just really bad timing on my part right now.

I have been eying this car for like a year now and just finally signed up to chime in.

Good luck with your sale and hopefully you will hold it a little longer.Does the car have any second gear problems?how does the ride feel like?Is it a steetable car or setup for track use.

This would be my first P car and Im coming from an M3.This is all new to me so I havnt really looked up the 996s yet.

 

Hey grk911 thanks for the kind words....I really appreciate it....It does not have any 2nd gear pop out issues and the ride is fine very streetable, just like an M3....I used to have a E46 M3 and I've noticed lot of guys who had E46 M3's usually step up to the 996TTs as there next move they are great cars and can be made very fast with great reliability and TQ.

 

I had a supercharged 2002 M3 before this car and let me tell you, the power is a lot less, but nothing can beat having the motor behind your *** with awd!!

 

You have a 996TT or a 996C4S, the upgradability of the TT's is just amazing now. For $3k you can get EPL's new hybrid turbo kit which is amazing, and gives even more amazing power for the price.

 

Car looks awesome,I really can't understand why you would sell it.I remember reading on your old thread that is was converted to rear wheel drive,is it back to stock now?

Can you show me a some links to the mods you have done,like the software,I have searched but cant seem to find much info.

I was thinking of things I would do if I had it.

One is throw those black wheels back on but paint an orange ring around the lips to match the car,then tint the windows and be done with it.

Does the flywheel chatter at all?
