2006 Yamaha R6 Limited Edition 50th Anniversary Motorcycle Sportbike + Tons of Extra’s and Upgrades

The 50th Anniversary Edition Yamaha R6 is a limited run bike badges commemorate Yamaha's victorious race debut in the 1955 Mount Fuji Ascent race in Japan.

The yellow/black/white color scheme was made famous when Kenny Roberts won 500cc World Championships in 1978 and '79. Yamaha ran these colors at the Laguna Seca round of MotoGP in 2005 on the Yamaha YZF-M1 (Valentino Rossi and Colin Edwards). Consequently, the color scheme has trickled down to the R6 and R1 for 2006 for a limited edition 50th anniversary model.

The Limited Edition Arai Corsair helmet is also a replica of Edwards' lid from the Laguna round. It's actually a "throwback" from Roberts' old lid as well.

The bike is in great condition with only 3400 miles on the clock. It has a few scratches here and there from normal road use but as you can see from the picture it is pristine looking. I did not get a chance to ride it as much as I would like. I spent close to 20 thousand dollars on this bike and the upgrades for it. It includes bumper to bumper 7 year extended factory warranty so you’re covered! I have all the stock parts except for the old heavy crappy stock exhaust system. Clear Title in hand.
