Last week I had the opportunity to purchase an excellent condition Boxster S at a good price, so I took it. It is an '01 Rainforest car with the Savanna Beige leather interior. It has 48k miles on it and is in excellent condition. It has full maintenance records from day one and has always been taken to a Porsche dealership except for tires and emissions inspections.

The hardtop is OEM Porsche but was repainted from yellow. It was installed onto the car by the local Porsche dealership. The RMS was replaced under warranty a while ago. All 4 CV boots have been replaced. The 45k mile service was just completed. Owner sold it because he purchased a 911 Turbo and it made no sense to keep both cars. He was going to turn it into a track car but decided it was too nice and is building an older BMW instead. Please let me know if you have any questions via email at sa.zakiu@gmail.com and I will answer them to the best of my ability or ask him for the answer.
I do not know fair market for a well maintaned car such as this, but based on KBB I should be asking $25k with the hardtop and roof transport system. I am open to any reasonable offer. By reasonable I mean do not point me to a salvage titled '00 non-S for 12k and explain to me that my car is only worth $15k. Reasonable means you found a comparable White Boxster S with similar mileage and documentation selling for $20k with no hardtop, but you want green and can offer me $20.5k without the hardtop or $23k with the hardtop included.

i would love to have a hardtop on mine! i love the color of your car! you definately don't see a million of those driving around! very unique! i'm sure the new owner will be very happy!
thanks! supposedly it's a rare color? i haven't seen one before, but it is pretty when you think of it as a british racing green! the hardtop is definitely nice especially with the glass rear window. unfortunately i'll most probably have to part it out to get the most value out of it, as many people don't care for one.
Hardtops are hard to sell even on their own. Several available for Sub $1K. Just giving some advice from someone shopping for a boxster for months now. Your price of 20.5K is well placed including the hard top. Best of luck with the sale, it is a beautiful car.
