2002 Turbo: Guards Red/black
There is no question that these cars are a lot for the money. I just think you shouldnt take offense to someone offering you the market price. Just look at the z06, people payed over sticker in 06 when they came out, now you could pick one up in the mid to upper 40s and thats only in less than 3 years. Anyway, im not trying to start crap, just enjoy it while u have it.
Definitely no offense to any offer. I understand what the "market" is and you have to understand that the "stuff" you see here on 6-speed isn't reflective of the whole "market". My offense is when know-it-alls like a certain "Dr" come on here and tell potential buyers that there's no way the car will sell for 60-something, but it's only worth 50-something. IMO you are an absolute idiot if you are willing to pay 55 for my car, but won't pay 60. I've drawn my line in the sand and a buyer is always welcome to do the same. You might be able to find numerous 996 Turbos out there selling for less and if you like one better than mine, then you should buy it. There's at least one buyer for this car out there and probably more. I put it here first knowing the most would try and "steal" it, but maybe a select few (or one) would appreciate it for what it is. One 6-speed member who hasn't posted here yet PM'd me to say he was part of the team that built this car in 2002 and remembers "how right it was." He has a friend who's been looking into 996 Turbos for a bit and he is telling him "that this is the one." Honestly, the 5 grand isn't going to make or break me, but I'm making a stand on the principle of how much car someone is getting at 60. If they don't see it that way, then they are not my buyer.
Best of luck!
More or less, it now has 10,100, as I will use it once per week to keep it moving until the sale.
Good luck with the sale, Great color combo. You are 100% right , the prices you see on 6speed are not real world prices.Honestly if I had the space I would be all over it...not for the mods but because its red.
Beautiful car and GL with sale. I agree with your stand completely....some guys feel that if any high mile 02 is in mid 40's, theyre all worth that much. There are definately those of us out there willing to pay more for a low mile, well taken care of car. Plus, if one will pass on a pristine car over 5 or so grand, maybe they shouldnt be looking at turbos?
It would have been a perfect fit if my car wasn't red, but an introvert like him doesn't want to draw too much attention to himself

JIM, good luck with the sale buddy. I actually might have a friend right near you who might be interested, I will give you a call soon to set something up!
Guy's, this car is worth every penny spent, it is immaculate inside and out and just stunning in person!
