Unfortunately no. The shop in Arizona that found the problem hasn't gotten back to me and the one in San Diego doesn't want to give a quote unless he sees it.

Can anybody here with previous experience/knowledge give a general rough estimate? Like a few hudnred? A few Thousand? etc etc

It will be more like a few thousand parts and labor. The pistons are $600+ and then you need rings, a gasket kit, and labor on top of that.

that's a nice looking car.


not sure if you already addressed it but why won't the original installer not honor their workmanship and fix it for you? hope i'm not hitting a sore point here...

it's such a shame as you have a great looking car....

Thanks man. It's not the fault of the original installer, but the tuner. Unfortunately the tune did not come from a huge shop, but from a friend. It's water under the bridge though.
