FYI, for those in Central Florida who may be interested in seeing this car, it will be at the Cars and Cafe event in Lake Mary tomorrow morning. Keep an eye out for it!

How long will it take you to realize that the price last year was above market and now with the collapse of the economy is even more out of line with the market....???

Sorry for the tone.

As a recent owner of a mint 95 993 which sold for 39k last January, my guess is that your price is reasonable... so I agree with you.

I would buy it in a second if it was a manual.

So the real question is, are you really willing to let the market determine its value?
Is a 25k reserve not enough? 27k

You could have a different buy it now price each month....

Or can you just pull it from the market for a couple of years?

I truly wish I had the perfect answer, but the market is the market and plenty of people have had the opportunity to see it and vote with their wallets....

good luck

SS

Thanks for the input...we'll see what happens. I gotta say it's promising to see the bids already up to $25K with 4 days left in the auction. A gentleman on another 964 forum mentioned that he recently sold a triple-black '91 C4 Cab 5 speed with 7,500 miles for $37,500 which was also encouraging to hear. Big difference in transmission, I know, but still nice to hear.

The market has clearly spoken- game over.

Just keep on knocking your head against the wall!!! If I were you, I would offer it to the high bidder and get out....

But it's not my car is it?

Why take the price of my car so personally? Were you one of the low-ball bidders?

just interested in the market and how the market speaks and ...

My ebay name is also ssarchi and you will see I never bid on it. Besides, who would want a tiptronic transmission?

Next step?
