The seller ended this listing early to sell to the high bidder(s) at current bid price.
Also, it was relisted shortly after the last one ended. Which means that the seller didn't want to sell it at that price. Whats also interesting is if you look at the highest bidder and the OP.

I noticed the same thing that the OP has the same name as the final bidder on the auction that obviously never finalized.
Unfortunately, this type of dishonesty happens a lot on EBay auctions. I hate scams like this to artificially bid up the price.
Of course this could just be a coincidence.

outside buyer made a deal with us and asked us to end the auction so we did and i ended it. Buyer could not get financed so the car is back for sale. I dont do funny stuff. I am not a ebay guru and dont claim to be one, im trying to provide kick *** parts and kick *** service to my clients and i use ebay as a sales tool. hmmm, that still doesn't explain the previous bids you entered at 41k, 42k, and then the step up bids and 53k to 55k. looks like price manipulation to me, but i won't hold it against you.
