These are great beaters and pretty much the fastest thing you can own in traffic. People get out of your way in a hurry!

I would love to get one, but they are hard to find in Washington since all the taxi drivers buy them and turn them into taxi's

I just submitted a bid for a retired P71 this morning, nothing like yours though. That looks great, GL with the sale.

Hey point of interest, a retired P71 is one of the most environmentally friendly cars you can buy! True story!

Thanks... I didn't know that about the car being environmentally friendly but it makes sense... They are fun for sure...

Is this Washington State or DC?

I'll be in DC tomorrow (arlington actually)...

The taxi guys know to get these because they last so long... I rode in cab in NY once and the driver told me that he had one that had over 500K miles that they had just retired... That's insane...

You are right... Or you get people slowing down because they think you are pacing them...

I'll pass this one along to my dad. He's got a 2004 Crown Vic right now and looking for another to drop a DOHC 4.6L/T-56 6-spd combo into. This has the aluminum driveshaft, correct?

+1! I see this rolling up in my rearview mirror, I slow down and get the hell out of the way. Then when it rolls past and I see it no longer has the state plates on it, I just follow in the wake it creates in traffic, LOL.

I drive around with the parking lights on and people see those in their rear view and move aside...
