Wtb - 1997 993 Tt
Okay, so don't buy it. But just because you don't want to pay it, does not make it a gouging. I am not the one saying that the price is or is not justified, so I don't need to show you anything. You made that assertion. My assertion is simply that you cannot find a lot of cars like that for under 95k. So how exactly do I prove that there are not a lot of cars like that for under 95k? If there are a lot, it is on you to find them. I am saying that they are not there, so I am certainly not going to spend a lot of time looking for something I do not believe exists, just to try to prove my myself wrong and find you a good deal. Knock yourself out. Go find the ton of perfect 97TTs in great colors with 3k miles for 95. Your seach cost will almost certainly bring the total cost over 95k if your time is worth anything at all.
My time is part of my hobby. I have time - and the money in a "difficult" marketplace. Cash is King.
Remind me again - why did you reply?

Found a red/black with 6700 miles for $94K. Sport seats, ROW suspension, small CF package, and RS muffler with chrome tips.
Are you saying thet YOU own a 3500 mile car for sale?

I'd install the ROW the second I got the car anyway. Without it it looks like its up on its tippy-toes. Robin's mufflers are a welcome addition as well.
Its not obvious that this car - which is TWENTY-FIVE THOUSAND less - is a better value?! I can't reason with that mindset. This car would be driven. I'll be dipped if I'm gonna lose $25K after I drive it and put on 2500 miles. I am not looking for a collector car. I already have a '97 TT with 26 miles on the clock that is in my permanant collection. (Signal Yellow, Black, sport seats, small carbon package, carbon door sills, TS strut bar - for those that care)
If you live in NJ and are involved in the PCA - you probably know me - and I may know you. Can we both just dispense with the 'tude?
