You are going to have a hard time finding anybody to take you serious when you dont have ANY pictures of the car you are trying to sell.

 

Thanks for the value-add here. I really only plan to sell on autotrader/ebay as must people on this site are broke kids. Not always true but most people with money don't search for sale sections of random car forums. Figure I would list just to see if anyone was SERIOUSLY in the market, not just people who like looking at pictures and dreaming.

Lets be honest. If you are SERIOUS, have the money, and in the market for an RS6, you are not going to let a lack of visuals prevent you from buying a car. I will get pictures up for autotrader ad but please dont ask again. Drop a pm of call (630-207-3263) if you are interested. Thanks.

You're not going to have any luck, anywhere by not posting pictures.. too many other people selling the same car WITH pictures.

Marketing tip: help your 'customer' visualize the purchase.

BTW - you'll be hard pressed to find a larger forum of people with money (pssst - $35K ain't 'money') than 6speed.

A) I don't have quality pictures and car is in storage.
B) 6speed may be the largest forum of people with money but still bus money in all honesty. Not many people with money spend time with online car forums. I am just a kid.
C) Here are some pictures for those of you that have never seen an RS6 and have no intention to buy.

If the car is stock, and the color combo stated, then generic pics aren't needed. Serious buyers know what they look like, and won't buy without a personal inspection. Pics are for specific visual differences, like custom mods, damage, etc.

 

dlm477... on a serious note... you understand that the car you are trying to sell... to most of us here, would be a 2nd DD right? forget about the fact that you refuse to post any decent pictures, i'm assuming you drop 35K without even looking at what you are buying... but insulting the group of guys you are marketing your car to can't possibly help your cause? if you didn't think you would sell your car here in the first place, then you're not just wasting your own time, but all of ours...

 

This is nuts! You list a car here, the insult your potential buyers. I have gotten two vehicles from this website alone. Yes, everyone here knows what an RS6 looks like, but I want as many pictures of YOUR RS6 as possible before I will even contact you to talk about it. This is because it speaks volumes about how the car is taken care of and how much the seller wants the buyers to know "hey, i took damn good care of this car and im going to show that."

I have also sold several cars using this and other forums and I always put up an abundance of pictures, interior and exterior, just to show everyone what they are potentially getting. Sure, you will get the gawkers and tire kickers, I get just as many of those or more from sites like autotrader and cars.com. So, get over yourself and realize that if you want a chance at selling your car here, then you are going to have to post pictures, even if it pains you to let kids with bus money see them.

 

Settle down guys. I didn't mean to offend anyone but I get irrirated with people asking for pictures when the car is stock and the condition is as perfect as pictures will show with the expection being curb marks on 3 of 4 wheels.

My cars sell instantly on autotrader.com/cars.com but here I get people that ask tons of dumb questions with no intent to buy. I always like to list on 6speed with the 10% chance that someone is SERIOUS and wants to see/drive car or wants pics with the INTENT to buy pending an inspection.

 

1.So why did you even bother posting here if your cars sell on auto trader? Don't tell me you're going to try to sell the car on there without pictures...

2.There are no "dumb" questions when it comes to someone having interest in purchasing a car.

3.Your arrogant attitude towards this forum is getting you nowhere (in case you haven't noticed)

4.Do you really think that someone that lives in California is going to fly all the way to Chicago without seeing pictures of the product, are you crazy?

5.There are serious buyers on this forum (myself included) that have legitimate interest in your car, but, would never dream of doing business with you if this is the way you act out of the gate.

My apology, but if you are serious give me a call and lets meet in person. You will change your mind. No need to make useless posts. I have sold a number of cars privately, passed on some great deals, and made some great friends in the process.
