2001 996 C2 Updated to 04 GT3 Body w/Turbo FRNT Bumper
2001 Porsche 996 C2, Black/Black, 10,400 mi, 6spd, supple leather front/rear ($390), aluminum/leather Shifter/Brake Handle ($865), stainless steel exhaust pipes ($750), black mats with Porsche lettering ($110), comfort package ($2090), Technic package ($2190), self dimming mirrors & rain sensor ($690), 3 spoke leather steering wheel ($255), tilt/slide sunroof, am/fm CD radio, dual front and side airbags, remaining warranty good up to 50,000 miles or 1 and half more years.
Body updated ($6000 installed and painted) to the current 04 GT3 with a Turbo front bumper. The side skirts are factory aerokit 2 pieces, the rear bumper is a factory 04 bumper with the painted bumper covers, 04 factory tailpipes ($400) were installed to compliment new bumper, the wing is an aftermarket (MASHAW) that looks and fits exactly like the factory aerokit 2 wing, the front Turbo bumper (from NR Auto) is one of the best aftermarket bumpers available that didn’t require changing the headlights and also has the lower spoiler lip built in. This creates a super strong one piece bumper unlike the factory two-piece bumper which has a flimsy spoiler lip that always breaks and falls apart. I also had the brake calipers redone in fly yellow ($1200) by Racing Technologies in southern California. I also had an H&R STAGE 4 coilover suspension ($3200 fully adjustable) dropped 1†and installed by S-Cargo Racing in Marin, California. Camber was adjusted and suspension perfectly corner balanced to handle like a race car and still be comfortable for every day driving. Wheels are !8†HRE 540 R (8.5/11) with factory ’04 GT3 spec Michelin Sport Pilot 235’s front/ 295’s rear. Wheels/tires were purchased brand new from ByDesign about 3 months ago and have less than 300 miles on them and are flawless (cost was $6500 with custom polished billet center cap/color Porsche crest and chrome lugs). A B&M short throw shifter ($300) and a FABSPEED cold air intake ($225) and BMC filter ($125) are brand new. The cold air intake gives the car a deep throaty sound at high rpm’s, increased throttle response and about 10 hp.
This one-owner, NON SMOKER, car has been garage kept and pampered since day one. Car has never been tracked or raced and still smells new! It has never been hit and is in BRAND NEW SHOW QUALITY condition with absolutely no scratches or dings. Wheels/tires are still brand new and are absolutely flawless. All body work, done by EuroDesign, was fitted to the car, removed, then painted, and then installed. All this contributed to a perfect fit and matching of all lines. I have had three oil changes using Mobile 1 synthetic 0/40 as recommended. A 10,000 mile checkup has been performed by the Rector Porsche in Burlingame where car was purchased. I have receipts for everything including the original sticker that came with the car. Total investment was about $91,000. This car looks better than a new GT3 and can be yours for a lot less money. This is a true Head-Turner!!! Asking $63k/obo bpanos@pacbell.net
