I've used Intercity half a dozen times now and they are by far the best car carrier I've ever used. If I pick up a new car on the west I am sure Intercity will be transporting it for me.

pumpkin head 03-26-2009 01:24 PM

I don't know if I will be shipping anytime soon, and I do believe I checked with Intercitylines before but I can't remember. But, are you guys able to ship from Alaska as well? I would be shipping pretty much across the nation, to VA haha.

bonehead 03-26-2009 02:20 PM

How long is the deal good for? I can't seem to find the car I want yet, but once I do, I will certainly give you guys a ring.

Gramicci101 03-26-2009 04:23 PM

Dave, welcome to the forum!

335_II 03-26-2009 04:57 PM

Welcome dave. I have used fedex passport and exotic car transport many times. I will have to give you guys a try

Paul N 03-26-2009 05:04 PM

Sweet. Gotta find some cars to buy now. :)

jamie 03-26-2009 06:47 PM

Sent Jeff an email relative to getting a car from Cleveland to Toronto.

Please let me know.

All Mack 03-26-2009 10:39 PM

You can contact the Totem' Barge Co. ,totemocean.com, they provide service from Alaska down to Seattle. We can pick up your car there for delivery to where-ever. Totem' Barge does a good job and provides more care than their name implies.

bonehead....We've always tried to keep our rates competitive, only now more so, especially considering the current economic situation. It's almost like someone turned the switch off at the end of December.

Our Guys will be more receptive to a discount if you identify yourselves as being from 6Speed. We want your business and will work hard with the numbers to get it done.

Thanks to all for the Warm Welcome, I appreciate it!

I am thinking dave needs some rep power. He is new to the forum. All that have used them , give him a boost. I think I will go first

I can vouch for them too. Good experience going from Texas to Maine.

It gets more and more difficult to guess what he's getting next since he's already had and sold every car I've wanted:rolleyes: Not a whole lot left.
My guess is a Zonda (just don't see him as a Veyron kinda guy:p)

Stratocaster 03-28-2009 10:16 AM

I have used Intercity at least 8 times and this includes both buying and selling cars. I strongly reccomend my buyers use Intercity when I'm selling a car. Thanks for the great service!

Superfly 03-28-2009 04:24 PM

Geez that's CLEAN!!! All mileage just up and down the driveway?? Congrats Jamie. You know I'm gonna look you up now next time I'm in Ontario! ;-)

racerboyrt 03-28-2009 08:03 PM

I have used these guys multiple times and they are one of the few companies you can trust. I would not hesitate to ship anything with them, they are one of the best.

WearyMicrobe 03-28-2009 08:10 PM

Will be giving you a call soon, I need a SRT Ram dragged back to california from the midwest

intercity 03-30-2009 08:26 AM

Thanks for the bump Guys, we all appreciate your support!

how do you give rep power, i've never figured out that aspect of this site..

oh, and to add to the other positives for intercity, i've used them a couple of times in the past (when i had more $$ to buy cars) and also was very, very pleased with every aspect of their service.

Bob Z. 03-30-2009 01:46 PM

I have used Intercity in the past, and some others as well...never had problems. However, I got a quote from them: Palm Coast FL to Dallas TX for $1177, which seems pretty high considering the cost of their coast-to-coast service, cheaper fuel costs, etc.

ivanpriest 03-30-2009 07:37 PM

Would come in handy since I live in Toronto.

Give power by putting mouse over the badge(next to thebell ringer) on post and click. Make sure you are on intercity post and give good feedback.........done. It will add to the posts rep power:D

they aren't necessarily the cheapest, but when i used them it was because i wanted to make sure that my car was taken well care of, including location on the truck. i view them as 'horseless carriage' with better customer service...although i've been happy with h.c. as well.

DodgeViper01 03-30-2009 10:37 PM

This is good to know for future reference. If I decide to purchase a car shortly, I will definately be giving you a call. $1500 coast to coast is a pretty good deal.

BobZ. I can do this for you. $1075 total and we'll have several transporters going West from Barrett-Jackson in West Palm the week of April 13th.

If that works let me know.

Hi Dave,
What would the cost be to
pick up a GT3 in South Florida and deliver to Philadelphia.

Thanks

angman 03-31-2009 03:25 PM

Dave do you handle brokerage as well from the US to Canada? Thanks

Rack rate is $1150. Once again we'll have a dozen or more transporters in So. Florida over the next few weeks...If you'd like to take advantage of our availability we can do the move for $945, enclosed and door to door.

Thank you.

Angman.

We work with both TFX and Thorsens for Canadian moves, actually PCNA uses Thorsens for deliveries to their Canadian Porsche Dealers. Let me know the details of your move and I can help get the Border crossing started for you.

hey dave, i just emailed jeff for a quote on a 89 BMW 325is that is located to in Milwaukee that i would need to be shipped to me (in miami), hope to deal with you guys soon!

Snacks 04-02-2009 01:00 AM

Do you guys ship motorcycles?

intercity 04-02-2009 08:23 AM

j.a. cadet...Thanks for the quote.

Snacks. Absolutely we ship motorcycles. Same procedure as shipping a car, drive into the transporter, soft tie-downs, door to door delivery. Many companies require crating the motorcycle we do not.

Thanks.
Dave Wilson
