it would seem like it would barely be registering on that gauge and make it hard to notice subtle changes in boost.
i use the zeitronix gauge for this very reason. what you've got is like have a oral thermometer that reads to 200 degrees...
However, I feel it's important to monitor the boost closely. Especially on low boost cars like ours. If my car is boosting 4psi instead of 5psi, a) that's a big difference and b) i know there is a leak somewhere. That's why I went with a digital gauge because the analog gauges read too high and couldn't give me enough detail on such a low boost car.
