If you have serious interest just make an offer. All offers within reason will be passed on. Once we make contact I will give you the owners personal number because I don't need or want to be in the middle of the transaction.

I'm just a car nut like the rest of us that happens to post on a forum that would be an ideal place to offer this car to other car guys.

Cheers

I don't think anybody was being meanspirited about the asking price. You simply stated that the guy does not frequent any forums and you, yourself, don't sell cars very often. Those two comments alone indicate that perhaps the seller doesn't know the "going price" on these cars today. Thus, the input from members on the asking price of the vehicle are being made SOLELY to help your friend sell the car.....not to bust *****.

If a dealer is offering $75k, your friend should take that deal in a heartbeat because that dealer doesn't know what their doing offering above market value lol. 09 are going for well under $70k right now. This one sold on ebay for $68k and it has less miles:

Take the money!
Nice performing cars but m.g. couldnt they have come up with a more pleasing design. Hell even Chris Bangle could have improved on that!

Wow, 68k, that was a nice buy... unless it's been beaten to death.

It boggles my mind that someone would buy a car for 70k+ and only keep it for 2k miles. What the heck is the point!

To the OP.

Not getting into any type of issues here, just for your information and information for your friend who's looking to sell this car.

Another 2009 with only 500 miles in Gunmetal just got listed for sale. Asking price is: $72,800.

My friend took the 75k the dealer offered. Thanks for looking and all your help.

I'll keep my day job as I'm not very good at selling cars
