Oh I know what you are saying, I started a thread earlier this year titled "Big Mistake"

I drove a friends 997 GT3RS, and I still think about that awesome machine.

Post away and I will cry myself to sleep tonight!

I debated six months if I should upgrade to a GT3 from my C4S

Mine is just over two weeks old and I have not quit smiling yet......life is way too short to not upgrade

i went back and read that thread. what i can add to it is that the GT3 feels more than the sum of its parts.

i modded my C2S to make it more GT3 like with coil overs, wheels/tires, exhaust, ssk, ect.. while it made great improvements, it yet pales in comparison to the real deal.

its as if porsche engineers have a secret ingredient that they sprinkle on this car but wont sell to the public.

the car has vault like solidity and a oneness to it that makes every mile a joy and then that sweet engine singing behind you. not exaggerating one bit when i say i can feel the difference cruising on the freeway at 55

different feeling in all its controls and and how it makes one feel to drive it.

with all that said, the C2S is an excellent car in its own right. its just not the uber special porsche like the GT cars and to a smaller degree, even the turbos

Any 'wiggle room' in that $192,000 price? ... just kidding!

There may be just a bit of room for someone, depending on which of the following groups one may be in, in order of preference...

close relatives
other relatives
friends
serious potential buyers
tire kickers
