Back on the market...

updates:

- Replaced wheels with Carrera III's (997 oem) and tires with new Sumi HTRZ III's in proper MK2 sizes.
- Replaced tape holder with 2nd shelf.
- Replaced the fabspeeds with fisterD mufflers (sounds much better and 0 drone)
- Hardwired V1 (k40 come with the car, hardwire can be reversed if needed)
- Replaced windshield with OEM part due to chips and pocking

Maintenance:

ATF flush-n-fill with new gasket and Tranny filter.
Brake flush with ATE typ 200 fluid
New Tranny mount installed
New light switch assembly installed

current mileage is around 88k

This is a 0 problem, 0 leak 996 with an updated IMS/RMS.

fresh (3k mile) catalytic converters installed yesterday after a check engine code showed one of them went bad.

beautiful! with a new engine this is a great deal! out of curiousity, what caused the motor to crater, IMS failure?

thanks for the kind words.

the motor failed due to "bearing failure" according to the write up from the dealer. so its safe to say its was an IMS victim

Found a local 997 I want to buy. reduce the asking price to 24.5k ... this is a steal at this price.
