How has your ownership experience been so far? Any of the reliability issues Land Rover has a reputation for?

Regarding reliability...

I have the same model, but MY2006. That's the first year generally recognized as "fully-sorted". Anything after that, you're pretty good. I've owned mine for about a year. New tires ($1K). New brakes ($1.5K). Oil change (couple hundy). Radiator failure (covered under CPO). That's it. Will definitely be purchasing an extended factory warranty on it, though. WAY too expensive to risk it.

CW, thanks for the input.

I have wanted one of these forever, but reliability has always made be a little gun-shy about pulling the trigger.

I have heard the 2010's have had some issues after the redesign, but it looks like an '06-'09 might be the way to go...

+1, going to be picking up a 2010 in the next few weeks, have heard of some software issues but overall they seem ok, GLWS Boris!
