I am the 2nd owner and no issues with the 2nd gear pop out. From what I read before purchasing the 2003's didnt have this issue. Only the earlier 996tts. Could be wrong but this car has not seen anything of the sort.

Sorry for the late response on here... wasn't getting the email updates. I just ended up putting the car up for another winter since it will hopefully sell better in the spring if I go that route. Thanks everyone for your responses!
Sorry but this was a waste of time by the original poster....
Testing waters? WTF??? Go look up the price value on other websites with pricing info. and then to pull if of the market?
NOT NICE....

Secondly, if you had read the thread from the start it was clearly stated that this was a feeler and other things had to full in place first. Which if they had I would have the car already on the market and fully F/S.
Thirdly, what do you even care? Sorry for hurting your feelings by wanting to keep my own car? I am not looking for a quick buck to get me out of debt nor selling a common day car. I think any sane person would do the same by putting the car up for winter storage and not jumping at the first offer they get.
Thanks for your time.
Ok, so I was hasty in writing-
If you want to ask the value of your car, fine- do it in the 996TT section, not in the for sale section.
Cuz, you are just dicking around with people.
Set a price, and see if you can sell it.... not just pull it and say you will wait till spring.
Also, if you think you will get more for it in the spring, you might be pulling it again..... the recession ain't gonna be over by then....
