The Marketplace Forums allow members and friends to buy and sell items in a friendly environment. It is not an open forum to critique asking price or the item for sale.

The Automobiles for Sale forum has recently had several complaints from sellers, buyers, and other users regarding comments being made about the particular car being sold.

I'd like to re-emphasize. Please do not make any comments about the asking price of items being sold. If you have interest in the car, or feel obligated to comment about the price, do so by PM. Comments about a price being "too high" detracts from the sale and is disrespectful to the seller. Would you want your ad to be infiltrated by comments about your selling price?

How about we have a rule that the price can't be so high that it's insulting to other members' intelligence? The two Z's at well over $100k come to mind. There are some good cars for sale on here but ads like that detract from both the seriousness with which people treat this forum and potential buyer's faith in the honesty of the forum.

 

If you don't like the price, then don't make an offer on the car, move on to the next ad.
