If you are looking for a mid-sized four-door sedan, with low miles, that is safe, reliable, attractive and fast as hell, you have found the right car! It was named one of Car and Drivers top 10 cars in 2001 and if you know anything about it, it’s pretty obvious why. Stats on it are: 4.2L V8, 300hp, 5-speed automatic (with Tiptronic), all wheel drive, and good gas mileage (17/25mpg). It also has the signature fender flares that gives the A6 4.2 model its aggressive stance. I am the second owner, the first being a good friend, and the car is in very good overall condition with low miles, only 60k. Car has had all maintenance and services and includes many expensive upgrades, which collectively costed much more than my asking price. Some of the highlights are:

Car is top of the line A6 with all options (sport package, navi, bose audio, cd changer, HID xenon lights, heated front AND rear seats, heated steering wheel, power everything, etc.)
Brembo GT1 355mm "Big Brake Kit"in front
19" BBS CH wheels (spare too) with Michelin Pilot Sport tires
Milltek full exhaust (downpipes, high flow cats, mufflers, etc.)
Hotchkis front and rear sway bars
3m clear bra
AUX/ipod input
No accidents whatsoever (Clean title)
All services completed including major items (brakes, tires, water pump, timing belt, plugs, coils, etc.). Only Mobile 1 synthetic oil was used.
I have all maintenance records since it was purchased new at Livermore Audi
Have all keys and manuals

Few flaws worth mentioning (none affect daily driving):
Rear parktronic back up sensors not working
LCD screen on the instrument cluster is pixilating and can be unclear at times (I just keep it turned off)
Rear seat has a small (~3/4 inch) tear that was repaired
Body is very clean but has minor nicks and scratches that are normal for a car of this age

Kelly Blue Book shows the value between $9-12k rated "good" and I’m asking $11,500 (OBO). I can assure you this is A LOT of car for the money. You will be hard pressed to find another A6 4.2 of this vintage cared for this way with miles this low. Frankly, I could probably part this car out and get even more than $11k for the parts but it is a masterpiece in its current form and why ruin a good thing? Only selling bc I have too many cars.
